We have amazing catering partners, who will look after your event from start to finish, providing the staff, equipment, food, and service that will make your day stress-free and easy, so you can focus on what matters most – celebrating with each other, and those you love most. (Please note self-catering is not an option, however Deer Valley does offer BYO for refreshments.)

Availability
Deer Valley is an exclusive venue, hosting just 6-10 weddings during our November – March fawning season. Throughout the year, we also welcome runaway lovers to enjoy elopements and intimate celebrations (2-30 guests) – get in touch with us to find out more about availability and reserve your preferred date.
FAQ's
100 seated guests (including Bridal Party) or 120 cocktail style
We are based in Ararimu, not far from Bombay Hills, Franklin. There is ample parking for guest cars, or alternately bus services can be arranged. If you want to arrive in style, Deer Valley has a helipad.
Our wedding season starts on the last weekend of November and ends on the last weekend of March for our larger events, however throughout the year, we also welcome runaway lovers to enjoy elopements and intimate celebrations (2-20 guests) – get in touch with us to find out more about availability and reserve your preferred date.
Please note: this doesn’t include Sundays or Public Holidays.
Since there are no kitchen facilities, you will need to hire a professional, self-contained mobile caterer. We have a list of preferred suppliers and we can provide more information about this when we meet. Deer Valley offers BYO refreshments.
Onsite Woolshed Lodge is a beautiful space to get ready for your big day or to enjoy your first night as newlyweds. As well as a luxury B & B all year round. There are a number of local boutique bed and breakfast options nearby, and we can discuss what’s right for you when we meet. on the property.
